FAQs

I am not very good with computers or websites can I do this?
Yes you can! Our admin (MySite) is built for everyone. It is easy to use and take no programming or coding experience. IF you can use Microsoft word you can use MySite. If you do get stuck we are available for tech support and will always get back to you within 24 hours.

How long does it take to set up my Online Portfolio?
Once you have decided to hire us the design process will begin. Since all sites are custom designed it is hard to say how long the design will take. The more input you give us the easier it will be. Most sites can be designed and built in about 1-3 weeks.

Can I use my own domain name?
We will be happy to use your current domain name. We will email you detailed instructions on how to point your domain name to your new website on our servers. The process is very simple but if you prefer, you may call us and we will walk you through the process over the phone. Once you make the necessary DNS changes, your domain will take about 12-24 hours to redirect to your new online portfolio website.

I do not have my own domain, what do I do?
We can also buy a domain name for you. We have access to buy many names cheaper than single users do. As part of your Custom Design price this will be included. WE will not see separate price for us to buy your domain for you. It’s on us. If we buy the domain for you we will set-up the account for you also.

How long does it take for my site to show up in the search engines? And what ranking will I get?
There is no exact time that we can reliably tell you. Most sites take between 8 weeks to 3 months to get indexed. Furthermore, we cannot guarantee what keywords will result in a search match or the ranking of your site. What's more, we submit your website to all the major search engines for free! Call us for helpful advice on this topic.

How many pictures can I display?
We have no limit on the amount of images you may display. Keep in mind though that the more images and the larger the files size the longer it will take for viewers to see the images.
